Full Mexico Atlas Install Instructions
You must already have the
Garmin MapSource program
installed on your computer. If yours is an older version Garmin offers free updates
on their site
here.
This map is locked and must be activated to be able to upload it
to the GPS
Unit.
To get your activation key, send your GPS Unit ID and you CD
serial# by email to anajera@bicimapas.com.mx
You will provided with the activation within 24 hours. You can
get your GPS ID directly from your unit in the Set Up options
menu. Check your user's manual for your model's specific
instructions. Alternatively, you can
connect your GPS to the PC and in Mapsource go to Utilities/Get
GPS ID.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure Mapsource is installed in the default directories
and folders
2. Close Mapsource before installing the map.
3. Load the CD in the PC and double click in the installer.
Follow the
instructions.
4. Once the installation process is finished, close the
installer program. The CD may removed from the PC at this time.
5. Run Mapsource. You will be promted to enter the activation
code for the map
just installed. Choose "I already have a 25 digit unlock key"
and follow the
instructions to enter the activation code received fom us.
6. On the top left side open the "Select a Product" drop
down menu and choose the map product you just installed. At this
time it will
show on the map window and you will be able to work with it with
normal Mapsource
procedures. We encourage you to read Mapsource's user manual.
Start by
setting the map detail level to More or Most
NOTE: We assume that
you installed
Mapsource™
to the default drive and directory. Otherwise the maps may not
be seen. |
